A national transport operator is investing in the security of its operational technology estate following a comprehensive risk assessment. This is a newly created role within a growing OT security team, focused on protecting signalling systems, SCADA infrastructure, and industrial control networks across the rail network.
You have hands-on experience securing industrial control systems and OT environments, ideally within transport, energy, or manufacturing. You understand protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and OPC UA, and can work confidently across both IT and OT teams. Familiarity with IEC 62443 and the CAF framework is highly valued.
Design and implement security controls for OT and ICS environments. Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis across industrial networks. Support incident response for OT security events. Develop security architecture documentation and standards for OT systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security is embedded in system design and change processes.
